Linen Care Instructions
Linen Care Instructions
Follow these simple steps to maintain the quality and appearance of your embroidered linens ensuring they can be passed down to generations.
Washing
It is preferable to spot clean embridered linen. If you need to wash them, please wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and the dryer; lay them flat to dry while gently pressing the napkin into shape.
Ironing
For best results, lay your napkin on a terry cloth towel with the back of the embroidery face up. The towel will help prevent puckering and flattening of the polyester embroidery threads and prevent the front threads from losing their dimension. For a crisper look, you can use spray starch. On the linen setting, carefully iron on the reverse side of the napkin while still damp, trying to avoid direct heat on the polyester threads. If you need to iron directly over the threads, please use a pressing cloth or any other lightweight cloth to cover the threads.
Remember to avoid bleach for long-lasting color and durability.
